The winery has a vineyard in the Gimblett area as well as another, Kidnappers, in Te Awanga, and a visit to the cellar is a great way to sample several top local drops. The Quarry cabernet won a best in show medal at the 2019 Decanter World Wine Awards. In winter, it's the home of the Walk of Wonders light festival, in summer there are movie nights at the amphitheatre, and on Saturdays in the warmer months, it is home to a boutique growers' market (not to be mistaken with the Farmers' Market at the showgrounds).
