Cape Kidnappers
The renowned Golf Top 100 ranked Cape Kidnappers 44th in its 2020 listing confirming this course as one of New Zealand's premier golf layouts. It is also one of this country's most photographed, the aerial shots of fairways atop coastal cliffs simply breath-taking. The course is just one of the world-class facilities situated at The Farm, brainchild of American billionaire Julian Robertson, which includes a luxury lodge and accommodation, a farm and a sanctuary for native flora and fauna. Julian commissioned American golf architect Tom Doak to design the course, which is a par 71 and 6569m and, while challenging, it offers all levels of golfers an unforgettable experience. A round at Cape Kidnappers will take 6 to 7 hours, meaning there is plenty of time to savour its setting. Staff are attentive and welcoming, the facilities immaculate.
