The Strawberry Patch

There is so much fresh fruit and produce in Hawke's Bay, it's hard to put a foot wrong, but several locals mentioned The Strawberry Patch when asked to share their favourite greengrocer. Owners Ian Tucker and wife Maree have recently taken over ownership of the veggie shop and strawberry patch, although Maree has worked in the store for 25 years and knows a good peach or apple when she sees one. Pick-your-own strawberry season starts about October and continues through summer.
