SPRIG AND FERN
The Sprig and Fern started in 2007 as a small bar on Milton Street serving locally made beer. Since then, it has expanded into 11 taverns across Nelson, Christchurch and Wellington. The beer is made by the country's godmother of craft beer, Tracey Banner, who has been in the brewing industry nearly four decades. “We are proud of our real Kiwi taverns, where real beer is served in real pints to real people,” she says.
