VIVA LA VACA
is a little slice of Argentinean slow-cooked goodness with a Kiwi twist. It all began when Chelsea Hall met Matu Cacciavillani in Australia. While traveling together throughout Southeast Asia, South America and New Zealand, the pair developed the idea for an eatery and turned it into a reality when they returned to New Zealand to settle in 2015. Now they serve Argentinian slow-cooked meats: think pork belly with crispy crackling served in a bun with sauce as mild or hot as desired. They feature at pop-up venues throughout the city. Just follow the smell of charcoal.
