IT’S BEEN 28 years since a trio of mad keen gardeners dreamt up an event to celebrate their local gardens and bring other garden-crazy folk together. The famed Garden Marlborough, sponsored by wine label Rapaura Springs (see page 86), includes garden tours, gardenthemed workshops and social events. Also included are full-day and half-day garden tours encompassing everything from compact gardens in the heart of Blenheim to breathtaking country estates. Brush up on horticultural knowledge and skills in workshops and brush up against likedminded gardeners at the popular Garden Party. This year’s event runs from 4 to 7 November 2021.
