Queen’s Park

Hunterville's Queen's Park is a great place to stop for a quick stretch of the legs and to admire the statue commemorating the famous huntaway dogs, which this town reveres. Walk to the northern end of the park and carefully cross the swing bridge (one at a time) to wander the short loop walk through native bush. It's easy enough for the shortest legs, and there's plenty to fire the imagination. Overnight camping is allowed (although passing trucks may disturb) and the toilets are clean and well tended, with drinking water available.

3647 SH1, Hunterville.
