Alex Arnold's mother couldn't have known that teaching her daughter to bake cakes would lead to Alex's career, but it sure did. Grainheaven was launched in 2018, the result of many years of trying different recipes. Working on her own in her Foxton bakery, Alex kneads, shapes and ices a wide range of German-influenced sweet treats and bread. She lives by the mantra “you are what you eat”, favouring organic ingredients; and her products are nearly all vegan.
